Silversmithing in Battambang

Thanks to a generous donation from an Asia's Hope supporter, we've been able to enroll 13 older boys from our Battambang orphan homes in a silversmithing apprenticeship program. Upon graduation from the program, the boys will be able to make rings, silver beads, clasps and other products. We hope to integrate the boys' program with our girls' jewelry co-ops to create a sustainable production  system for products that can be sold in Cambodia and abroad.

If you're interested in helping to fund projects like this, contact john@asiashope.org.
