Unleashing Hope at the Momentum Conference
At last year’s Momentum Conference, God moved powerfully in the hearts of hundreds of young people. In one day, students from Grace Brethren Churches all over the nation gave enough money to fund two orphan homes in Cambodia for an entire year.
At these two orphan homes, 40 children who once lived without hope – barely surviving each day, living at extreme risk of sexual and economic exploitation in one of the world’s poorest nations – now live in caring Christian homes where they experience Jesus’ love and protection on a daily basis.
Additionally, former NFL player Je'rod Cherry committed at last year's conference to sell one of his Super Bowl rings to support the purchase of land and construction of two new orphan homes in Doi Saket, Thailand. These homes are sponsored by the Grace Community Church in Fremont, Ohio, and are home to more than 40 children.
